We’re all really just
a vapor,
a dewdrop,
condensation on a petal—
lasting only for a moment.
Behold, there’s beauty in that, too.
Who is man that God is mindful of us?
We are dewdrops.
Our beauty, a mere reflection of Him.
Two truths braided together:
We are dewdrops, nothing,
evaporated by the sun.
But in the Son,
we are art, created by
the wonderful Artist.
Who is man that You are mindful of us?
We are dewdrops.

Doubling back...finding your poem is echoing in my mind...as I'm about to turn to a challenging (school) writing assignment. And the words, "holy dewdrops" return to me.
So, I'm printing off your piece to add to my substack "poetry" folder.
So lovely how these pieces and words echo in our souls!
Lovely, once again, lovely words woven together.
When I came to the end, Brittany, I "heard" two more words...on one more line...
...holy dewdrops.
